October 2 - Metal Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop

85.00

DATE: Tuesday, October 2nd

TIME: 6:00-8:30pm

VENUE: Amy's Place, 3314 N Oakley Unit 3N, Chicago, IL 60618

This is truly a unique macrame project because of the hard and soft material combination. Although this looks extremely intricate and detailed, even a beginner can pull it off!

We will begin with intros and wine. Next, I will teach you how to create the metal arrangement at the top of the piece as well as the wall hanging macrame pattern below. I will help guide you with designing, knotting and the overall look of your piece. Once your design is complete, you will trim and fray the ends. Everyone will complete their unique wall hanging during class so it is ready to hang the minute you get home! Your finished piece is generously sized at approximately 1 foot wide by 3 feet long. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting a fun, creative experience. Beginners and advanced students are welcome. Grab a friend and join the group!

TICKET INCLUDES:

  • Enough macrame materials to completely create your piece

  • Choice of gray, black or natural accent rope

  • Brass rod and rings

  • Printed macrame knot guide to take home

  • Unlimited demonstrations and guidance throughout the class

  • Complementary wine selection

  • Follow up email with Amy's favorite material resources

Workshop tickets are nonrefundable. If necessary, you can transfer your ticket into someone else's name.

Amy was a delightful teacher, her instructions were simple, she helped when we were struggling and was prepared with set up and even a light snack/water! I highly recommend this class!" - Emily F.
